Sam Franco is a nomadic casting director, talent agent, and filmmaker from Santa Fe, New Mexico, specializing in casting across film, commercials, editorial, and music videos.

Her approach to casting is deeply informed by her background as a filmmaker and her sensitivity to documentary-driven, cinematic storytelling.

She received her BFA in Film from Pratt Institute, where she studied closely under award-winning director Eliza Hittman. Her own work explores themes of the human condition and subconscious space, often drawn to the strangeness and poetry found in everyday life.

Notable projects include Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter, which was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Music Video, alongside music videos for artists including Rosalía, Katseye, Travis Scott, Zach Bryan, and Lola Young. In narrative film, she has worked on projects such as the Ross Brothers’ Edge City and Perfect, starring Julia Fox.

In addition to her work in film and music, Franco has cast global campaigns for brands including eBay, On Running, Google, Arcteryx and Rimowa.
